Meet Dr. Cele Oliver

Cele Oliver, DDS, DHSc

Orthodontics is incredibly rewarding, and there is no better feeling in the world than seeing a patient’s smile beam when their treatment is complete. I understand that the patients I see place a great deal of trust in me, and that orthodontics is quite an investment, so I treat each one as I would treat my own family.  More often than not, my wonderful patients leave me smiling as much as they are! I truly love what I do, and I feel blessed to have formed the relationships I have while being a part of this profession.

I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin and attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio for my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. My orthodontic training was completed at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health where I was chief resident. I also earned my Doctorate of Health Sciences from the Arizona School of Health Sciences.

I continually update my education through participation in several professional organizations including the Texas Dental Association, the River District Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Orthodontists. I was honored to be awarded the Best Abstract at the Annual Scientific Meeting of the TMD Society in 2006, Winning Table Clinic, presented at the ADA meeting in 2006, and the Arthur Storey Award for outstanding student in orthodontics in 2008.

I grew up on a small farm in Cele, TX, and have lived in the wonderful San Antonio community since 2004. There’s no place else I’d rather be! In 2010, I married my best friend and partner, Dr. Jarod Oliver. Together, we have a puppy named Ollie who we absolutely adore, and are looking forward to expanding our family soon.

When I am not working, I enjoy cooking and trying new restaurants with Dr. Jarod. He is also my incredibly patient golf coach. We love to travel, go hiking, and are enthusiastic about sports of all kinds, especially Longhorn football and cheering for the Spurs! I am also a member of the San Antonio Junior League, which keeps me busy with many community outreach programs and charities.
